For 75 years, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston has provided food, clothing, shelter and a network of support services to people of all ages and from all walks of life and religious backgrounds.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Food (Food pantries in Houston, Richmond and Texas City.) and clothing assistance, rent and utility assistance, health screening, disaster assistance, counseling, services for seniors, pregnancy support (for pregnant women along with a support person; parents with children under 5 years of age), women veterans assistance, immigrant assistance in legal matters, refugee resettlement, and referrals to other community resources.
COVERAGE AREA Catholic Charities serves individuals and families in the ten counties throughout the southeastern area of Texas: Galveston, Harris, Austin, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Grimes, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller.
