SOS has been serving residents of Magnolia ISD for 37 years, providing food, clothing, household goods and financial assistance with housing costs, utility bills, medical expenses and transportation needs.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Rent & utility assistance: up to $200 towards utility, up to $300 toward rent within 7 days of due date.
Health services: depending on funding availability. (Grants usually come around Aug-Sept for vouchers of $120 towards Health Services.) a. Vision: eye exam and single lenses glasses. b. Dental: Dental exam and basic services. c. Medical evaluation: assistance with diagnosis. d. Mental Health Services: Coordination with Yes to Youth. e. Prescription at Magnolia Pharmacy. f. Medical Supplies and equipment: assistance with some g. Gasoline assistance: voucher for fuel for schedule medical appointments & job interviews only (documentation and confirmation by phone required) h. Food Assistance see Part 2
